There’s Cousin Bo and Uncle Fred – and everyone she knows
But they don’t know the half of it – it’s bad enough what they know
She ain’t no spring chicken – no, she ain’t no blushin’ bride

There’s brother Buzz awaitin’ – standin’ there with her old Man
If they “figur” we’ll be in-laws – well, they better think again
