BACKSTORY:
This song was inspired by the 64-year marriage of the writer's father and mother – and was composed and dedicated in their honor. Performed on 10 May 2008 for Memorial Services remembering the writer’s mother, Mildred D. Gathman (3 February 1921 – 4 May 2008). Her service followed Memorial Services for her husband and the writer’s father, David W. Gathman (22 November 1916 – 11 March 2008) held just 8 weeks earlier in the same sanctuary of the same church.
